Magic Bullet #7 Thank You Card

Matt Rawson illustrated our Halloween issue thank you card, which was recently mailed to all advertisers and others who helped towards the success of the newspaper. His style is based off his chalkboard drawings done at the Comics Making Studio Artisphere exhibit, which ends November 3.

Almost all 5,000 issues have been distributed. We had them at New York Comic Con, Small Press Expo, the October Capicons show, Baltimore Comic-Con, Artisphere, and several other outlets. For a complete list of places you might still be able to pick-up a free copy, please look at our "Magic Bullet Locator" tab link.

Several comic contributors will be distributing the last remaining copies of Magic Bullet #7 to Trick-or-Treaters on Halloween evening, this Thursday.

You may also get a free copy if you sign up to give blood next Saturday, November 2, 2013, in an event I'm organizing with the American Red Cross called "Cartoonists Draw Blood." More information on how to donate your blood can be seen here: http://www.curls-studio.com/curls/?p=2408

Grab one of the last remaining copies of Magic Bullet #7 if you can. Good luck on the hunt and thanks again to Matt Rawson for illustrating our thank you card.

Happy Halloween!
Carolyn

Noguchi @ Artisphere

Jamie Noguchi will be the artist in resident tomorrow at the Artisphere in Arlington, Va., as part of the D.C. Conspiracy’s Comics Making Workshop in the Works in Progress Gallery. Jamie will be there from about 6:30-9ish p.m. (depending on how long it takes him to finish his chalkwall drawing, which each resident artist has done each week). Jamie will also be there on Saturday from 1-4 p.m. Below is a recent episode of his online comic Yellow Peril.
